we tried this new place last thursday night with my friends, and we were not satisfied with the service and the food. the food was served 30 minutes after we ordered it. shet, mamamatay na kami sa gutom! sumobra sa asim yung sweet and sour pork nila and it looks like it was sinigang sa dami ng sauce. talagang lumulutang sa sauce yung pork strips. and the chicken barbecue was so dry. dapat yata yung ibang sauce sa sweet and sour pork nilagay na lang nila sa barbecue. haaayyy, I wouldn’t be caught dead going to that restaurant again (unless they improve on their menu)... :(

anyways, i was on my way home when I chanced upon Susan Enriquez walking alone along Rizal Promenade. i was looking for a GMA van in the area but there wasn’t any. i’m not sure if she’s doing a feature on Davao for her weekly show called “Kay Susan Tayo!”, or maybe she’s covering Susan Roces’ visit in the city. she looks the same in person and in tv. para syang taga-Davao na naglalakad mag-isa sa downtown. hindi nga yata sya kilala ng mga tao e. at ang nakakatawa, the girl beside me blurted out: "oy, c Doris Bigornia o!" hehehe… ang sarap sabihin, “tange, si Susan Enriquez yan!” (sabay batok sa girl).

busy ka?

i was riding a jeepney on my way to office when i noticed this guy infront of me cutting his nails. it was very unusual for me. ganun na ba talaga ka-busy ang mga tao ngayon at kahit ang simpleng paghihinuko ay hindi na magawa sa bahay?! it's acceptable if he's inside a private car, but doing it in a jampacked public utility vehicle...that's another story...

i'll get by with a smile

and baby you don’t have to worry,
cause there ain’t no need to hurry
no one ever said that there’s an easy way
and when they’re closing all their doors
and they don’t want you anymore
this sounds funny but I’ll say it anyway
girl I’ll stay through the bad times…

Who? me...
What? on hold career status...
When? as of the moment...
Where? dito lang, dito mismo, dito sa loob...
Why? don’t know...
Plans? wala pa...
Current Mood? a bit disappointed...

what's new?

i just had my Fibroma Operation yesterday at San Pedro Hospital. the process went on for about 20 minutes, mabilis lang sya. mas matagal pa ang pagpapa-approve ko ng Philhealth papers. Gggrrrr…Ok lang at least nakamura.

i have a new pair of stud earrings. i was supposed to buy a clip earring for my surgery but I can’t find one that’s why I ended up buying a stud (not for surgical purposes…gusto ko lng yung design nya, hehehe).

"The reason of my quest for that clip earring: I consulted a dermatologist about
the lump on my upper left ear lobe. She instructed me to buy a clip earring
before she would do something to my ear. Since I can’t find that kind of
earring, I went to another doctor and suggested that I undergo a surgery. I
opted for the surgery because it’s cheaper and it does not require me to buy an
earring. The derma would cost me P3,000 while the surgery would only cost me
P600."

i have a new pair of slippers. since my operation was rescheduled, we went to the mall to have our lunch. at sa kakapasok ko sa mga stalls, at sa kakasukat ko ng mga blouse, sandals, at kung anu-ano pa, nakabili tuloy ako ng tsinelas ng wala sa oras. kaya ang gastos ko sa operasyon ay umabot ng humigit kumulang sa P1,000 pa rin, hehehe…

i have two new cd’s, HALE and ORANGE AND LEMON’s Strike Whilst The Iron Is Hot. actually, I bought these two cd’s last month. pero matagal na akong hindi nakapag-blog kaya I still consider it as new.

pop up #2

i'm still hiding behind the mask that i've been wearing since the day the eagle chose green over red...the day the eagle left for the jungle...the place where he can live life to the fullest...his sanctuary...his home...

pop up #1

if i were to compare you to something, i would automatically say that you're like the sea at night -- so calm and yet so mysterious...

when boredom hits me

on my way home, i saw a girl and a boy arguing on something. i'm inside a jampacked jeepney and the traffic is boring me to death. so i made up a story since i can't hear their argument. the girl was facing to a display of cakes while the boy is facing on the opposite direction.

Location: MERCORNER (Quirino cor. Mt. Apo Sts.)

seminar

Seminar on Documents Aprreciation last May 15, 2005 at Beachside Lanang. Took this shot during lunch break...All smiles gihapon bisan wala'y rest day...and wala'y overtime pay...

girl power

Girls rules this week on my media player. Why? Because I have 5 songs from 4 girl artists added on my playlist. And here goes the list…

MINAMALAS by Mojofly – I love the beat and the lyrics.

ang ugali mo'y iba

hindi bagay sa'ting dalawa
pakiusap sana
makisama ka naman
huwag kang balahura
ayoko na ang labo mo
pag maginaw naiinitan ka
minamalas
kasi wala na akong mahanap na iba

It sounds funny to me. I think the use of the word “balahura” adds up to the appeal, hehehe... Parang pinagtitiisan na lang nya yung tao.

MATA by Mojofly – I simply love the chorus. My most favorite among these 5 songs.

nakita ko na lahat ito

pinahihiwatig ng mata mo
salamat na lamang sayo
ohhhhhhh…

SAME GROUND by Kitchie Nadal – she sounds like Fiona Apple.

AKAP by Imago – this song is so generous…kahit magtapak basta para sa ‘yo, hehehe…

Pikit mata

kong iaalay
ang buwan at araw
pati pa sapatos kong suot

HOLD YOU DOWN by JLo feat. Fat Joe – reminds me of “All I Have”.

you don't know how much you mean to me
whenever you’re down
you know that you can lean on me
no matter the situation
boy, I'm gon' hold you down

these past few days...

Sunday – it’s supposed to be my one and only rest day for the week. Instead I was in the beach for some seminar. But it was not like a seminar for me but a crash course in electrical engineering. Haaayyy…kapoy kaayo maminaw especially if the topic is not really that interesting. What do I care about amperes, volts, service entrance, lineside/loadside wire, etc.? I know I need that knowledge to become effective in my job, but I would love to spend my rest day staying at home and just relaxing my mind from work. And they should consider it as an overtime since it was our scheduled day off which means we have the right to do anything we want to do on that day. ‘Nuff said…kahit ano pang sabihin ko dito wala na rin akong magagawa. Tapos na yun, at yung gusto pa rin nila ang nasunod…hehehe…

Tuesday – went to NCCC mall (w/ Irene, Lovely and Leah) to buy the bag that I want. Much to my surprise, wala na , ubos na! Waaahhh! It’s not really meant for me.

Wednesday – went home early as per Irene’s order. Bakit? Kasi pupunta sya sa bahay to return the backpack that she borrowed for their outing. Bad thing she forgot the siopao that they made during their class. Hmp!

Friday - watched Star Wars – Return of the Sith with Emily and Velmor. At last, I was able to watch it. Nalaman ko na rin how Anakin Skywalker became Darth Vader, And why he chose to be on the dark side. We went to Dimsum Diner after the movie. Loved the movie as well as the siomai…hehehe…

Saturday – today is Saturday. I’m going to meet up Irene at JS Gaisano. She’ll be renting vcd’s because they are planning to go over to our house on Sunday to watch movies. I doubt if they would be able to watch those vcd’s since they love to talk and talk and talk and just talk.
