when boredom hits me
on my way home, i saw a girl and a boy arguing on something. i'm inside a jampacked jeepney and the traffic is boring me to death. so i made up a story since i can't hear their argument. the girl was facing to a display of cakes while the boy is facing on the opposite direction.
Location: MERCORNER (Quirino cor. Mt. Apo Sts.)

seminar
Seminar on Documents Aprreciation last May 15, 2005 at Beachside Lanang. Took this shot during lunch break...All smiles gihapon bisan wala'y rest day...and wala'y overtime pay...
girl power
Girls rules this week on my media player. Why? Because I have 5 songs from 4 girl artists added on my playlist. And here goes the list…
MINAMALAS by Mojofly – I love the beat and the lyrics.
ang ugali mo'y iba
hindi bagay sa'ting dalawa
pakiusap sana
makisama ka naman
huwag kang balahura
ayoko na ang labo mo
pag maginaw naiinitan ka
minamalas
kasi wala na akong mahanap na iba
It sounds funny to me. I think the use of the word “balahura” adds up to the appeal, hehehe... Parang pinagtitiisan na lang nya yung tao.
MATA by Mojofly – I simply love the chorus. My most favorite among these 5 songs.
nakita ko na lahat ito
pinahihiwatig ng mata mo
salamat na lamang sayo
ohhhhhhh…
SAME GROUND by Kitchie Nadal – she sounds like Fiona Apple.
AKAP by Imago – this song is so generous…kahit magtapak basta para sa ‘yo, hehehe…
Pikit mata
kong iaalay
ang buwan at araw
pati pa sapatos kong suot
HOLD YOU DOWN by JLo feat. Fat Joe – reminds me of “All I Have”.
you don't know how much you mean to me
whenever you’re down
you know that you can lean on me
no matter the situation
boy, I'm gon' hold you down

these past few days...
Sunday – it’s supposed to be my one and only rest day for the week. Instead I was in the beach for some seminar. But it was not like a seminar for me but a crash course in electrical engineering. Haaayyy…kapoy kaayo maminaw especially if the topic is not really that interesting. What do I care about amperes, volts, service entrance, lineside/loadside wire, etc.? I know I need that knowledge to become effective in my job, but I would love to spend my rest day staying at home and just relaxing my mind from work. And they should consider it as an overtime since it was our scheduled day off which means we have the right to do anything we want to do on that day.
Tuesday – went to NCCC mall (w/ Irene, Lovely and Leah) to buy the bag that I want. Much to my surprise, wala na , ubos na! Waaahhh! It’s not really meant for me.
Wednesday – went home early as per Irene’s order. Bakit? Kasi pupunta sya sa bahay to return the backpack that she borrowed for their outing. Bad thing she forgot the siopao that they made during their class. Hmp!
Friday - watched Star Wars – Return of the Sith with Emily and Velmor. At last, I was able to watch it. Nalaman ko na rin how Anakin Skywalker became Darth Vader, And why he chose to be on the dark side. We went to Dimsum Diner after the movie. Loved the movie as well as the siomai…hehehe…
Saturday – today is Saturday. I’m going to meet up Irene at JS Gaisano. She’ll be renting vcd’s because they are planning to go over to our house on Sunday to watch movies. I doubt if they would be able to watch those vcd’s since they love to talk and talk and talk and just talk.

summer escapades 2005
April is almost over and the rainy season is ready to set in. I had a great time this month going from one beach resort to another. Braving the scorching heat, hitting the waves, an endless walk on the white sand, and just enjoying the gift of nature is really a great way to break to monotony of office work. I’ve been to three beach resorts this month, and it was one hell of a trip!
Paradise Island – I went there with my friends in high school last easter Sunday. We had a great time, except that we had an unlimited swim since it was low tide. Pero ok lang, I still had a great time with my friends.
Boracay Island – Wow! This was the highlight of my career…ay of my summer escapades diay, hehehe…I went there with inay and ate yeng. Stayed for 3 days and two nights. Walked from station 3 to station 1 lots of times para lang mang-spot ng celebrities (hehehe…). Went to Talipapa 3 times before going home. Sipped the infamous Jona’s shakes. Had my first henna tattoo (check out my pics on the lower right side of this page) stamped on the back of my right shoulder. Wore (for the first time and to the amazement of my friends) a two piece swimsuit, but still had my shorts on while swimming (hehehe…). Boarded a twenty-seater plane on the way to Caticlan. Watched Pido and Paolo Santos on a free concert while lying on the sand and watching the stars and moon. Listened to Drops of Jupiter by Train over and over again to and from Boracay. Walked, took pictures…walked, took pictures…walked, took pictures…walked.....
Pearl Farm Beach Resort – our last “pit stop”. Located at Samal Island, a 45 minute boat ride from davao city. The resort was great. The food was delicious. The water was so clear you can’t resist to take a dip. The Malipano Island, (an island fronting Pearl Farm) is good for people who don’t want crowded beach resorts. Anyways, we left Pearl Farm at 4pm aboard a motorboat. During the 45 minute ride, me and my sis splurged on her iPod listening to Moonpools and Caterpillars’ SOON…(/me singing --- “ooohhh, it’s said and done”)…it felt like I was doing an mtv while my hair was constantly blown by the wind…hehehe…

when everything becomes unlimited
UNLIMITED is now the trend that consumers are looking for. i guess it all started with the bottomless drinks that some of the restaurants offer. it was followed by the "eat-all-you-can" promo where you have to pay a certain amount and you can eat all the food that tey serve until you get bloated. then emerged the "unlimited rice" that suddenly became a hit to students, young professionals and almost everyone who can't help but order another serving of hot-steamed rice.
And of course, the most popular nowadays among all the unlimited products: the Call and Text Unlimited. this promo was started by Sun Cellular which has gained them lots of subscribers. i myself bought a Sun simpack to enjoy their promo. almost all of my friends had already subscribed with the said network. although there are times where you really need to have patience in dialling and sending text messages because their network is either busy or worst, the network connection is unavailable. but it's ok for people like us who wants to update on each other's lives despite the distance.
Months after the unlimited promo was made public, other cellphone network companies made their own version of the unlimited call and text. it's funny though because at first they were protesting about the said promo, because according to them it was like stealing their subscribers. that' why it's called competition because it is the consumer's decision which network to choose or what service/product to patronize. it is within the company's control on how they will improve their product so as to market it in a way that the customers will be delighted and satisfied with the kind of service/product that they are offering. in the end, both parties will benefit from each other.
ok, enough of this. i still have to call my friend with my Sun sim. it's already scheduled :)

sino-sino kaya sila?
i've been visiting my friendster account lately and i noticed that they already had this somewhat counter on who viewed your account. my account has already been viewed 25 times since march 01, 2005, and my friends were somehow amazed because their profile were only viewed less than 10 times. i just tell them jokingly: "pangit man gud inyong pictures, walay interesado mutan-aw (hehehe)". i wonder who these people are. i hope they would come up with a feature that will show the people who viewed your account...hehehe, wala lang naintriga lang ako.

shet, summer na!
one of my most favorite time of the year. i wonder how my summer would be this year? hmmm...i think it's gonna be a beach season for me. why? because my weekend plans are focused on beach trips. actually, i already started it last sunday (march 27) with my hi-school friends. we celebrated Easter at Paradise Island Beach Resort (Samal). the weather was great because it was a bit cloudy and we were spared from the scorching heat of the sun. hehehe...that's a big thing for people like us who are afraid of having sun burnt skin and are somewhat obsessed with skin whitening products. although we felt the sun's presence at noon time, the heat was bearable and we still managed to maintain our normal complexion. talk about vanity!
most of my weekends are scheduled for beach outings. i plan to go back to Paradise for an overnight with my officemates. i'm not just so sure if this would push through since everybody is busy with work and i find it very tiring to spend our rest day swimming. there are also plans of having a day tour at Pearl Farm with my family. i'm just crossing my fingers that these plans would be made possible.
by the way, how could i forget our upcoming trip to Boracay that was planned a long time ago. i'm sure there'll be lots of fun and adventures that awaits us. shet! i don't wanna get "overly-excited" with the trip because someone or something might just burst my bubble. puhleez, give me a break! i'm gonna be a freakin' beach bum this april!

bawal daw?
the department concerned with internet connections in the office wouldn't allow me to have access to the internet. bakit? kasi bawal daw...ok fine! after sometime, they had my computer connected to the net but i need to have a password first to be able to connect...anak ka ng pusher! if that was the case, hindi na lang sana nila kinonek yung computer ko, useless lang di ba? pero syempre may pagka hacker ako eh, hehehe...(my special talent not everybody knows), and with the help of my computer wizard officemate...tsaran!!! welcome to the world wide web! hehehe...connected na din ako sa wakas...kaya hindi na ako masyadong mabo-bored dito sa office..i have to end up this post because i still have lots of sites to explore.

kasalanan mo
